180kW Electric Hi-Temp Hot Water Boiler Delivered

November 20, 2025

Concept Boiler Systems recently supplied a first of its kind 180kW Electric Hi-Temp Hot Water Boiler to a client seeking stable heated process water from an efficient, compact source – operating solely on electricity.

Built on the flexibility of the CBS-EV platform, the system was configured to 180kW, while the design allows for up to 420kW from a single unit for high draw systems.

Our solution comprises a heavy-duty skid frame with electrical panel, electric boiler, pump and storage tank installed within the footprint of the frame.

The temperature of the water in the storage tank, which itself is fully insulated and designed to facilitate effective circulation, heat retention and serviceability, is precicely controlled through two sensors embedded in the side of the tank to our client’s specified temperature of 80°C. Output data from the sensors is used to control the state of the boiler, and is connected to the process systems to provide data and control to the system operator.

Like all Concept Boilers, this unit was constructed from Australian steel and welded in-house by certified boilermakers. Australian made heating elements were selected for their superior service life, while high quality instruments, valves, gauges and electronics were used throughout.

The entirety of the frame, pressure vessel, electrical switchboard and storage tank are locally manufactured in Bayswater, continuing over two decades of Australian manufacturing by Concept Boiler Systems.
